その他にもEP「Imprint Of The Sun & African Rhythm feat. MAUMA」や「Bomboo Bomb & Oumuamua feat. MAUMA」など、2021年に入り数多くのリリースが国内外で高い評価を受けているSTUDIO APARTMENT。

いよいよ世界中のフロアで再び歓喜の声が上がりつつある中、それをさらに加速させるべく、昨年末に発表したアルバム「2020~」に収録された話題の“Sign Of Love feat. AK Akemi Kakihara”をTsuruSwing RemixにTsuruSwing Reprise、そしてTsuruSwing Remix / MASANORI MORITA Re:Editを加えリリース！

STUDIO APARTMENTの代表曲の1つ“Beautiful Sunrise”以来、約13年ぶりとなったAKことAkemi Kakiharaとの共演は変わらず相性抜群で、STUDIO APARTMENTの持ち味でもある美しいメロディと彼女の歌声のマリアージュはまさに絶品。そこはかとない哀愁感がまた楽曲に深みを持たせ、ハウスの醍醐味を存分に堪能できる仕上がりに。 “Beautiful Sunrise”を現代にアップデートさせたSTUDIO APARTMENTファンにはたまらない1曲となっている。

そんな楽曲をリミックス＆リプリーズしたのは、長きに渡り世界と闘う気鋭TsuruSwingことToshiyuki Tsuruha。今回はオリジナルの世界観を押し広げ、よりオーガニックで音像豊かに、そして壮大かつメロディックに拡張。

リスナーの体を浄化させるかのような心地よさで、オリジナルとはまた異なるベクトルの多幸感に溢れたリミックスに。さらに、リプリーズではそこからさらに厳選し、音像豊かでオーガニックなエッセンスを抽出。オリジナル、リミックス以上に包容感のある作品に仕上がった。

一方、TsuruSwing Remix MASANORI MORITA Re:Editはリミックスの要素を活かしながらもさらなる奥行きと深度を与え、空間に広がりを持たせると同時にビートのアプローチもよりフロアライクに。計4曲、それぞれ違った魅力が輝く内容となっている

Delivering a masterful reworking of this delectable album cut is fellow Tokyoite Toshiyuki Tsuruha AKA TsuruSwing, who’s euphoric melodic productions are exquisitely unifying Ibiza influenced club production with his unparalleled musical composition style.

Setting off on this musical voyage, TsuruSwing crafts a delicate, oscillating arpeggio hook that underpins the track throughout, allowing AK Akemi Kakihara’s incandescent vocal tones to wander the space with ease. Soon accompanied by immersive, tremulating chords that swell around the throbbing kick, cascading synthesizer effects and brilliant, bright percussion layers. From the shimmering ride cymbals and featherlight cabassa loops, comes an ear-tingling joy of amalgamated sonics, echoing the staggering vocal tones, a distinct harmony is formed by TsuruSwing’s ear.

Through an utterly spellbinding breakdown, where symphonic strings ebb and flow across the slivers of breakbeats, wandering arpeggios and warm, embracing chords that encompass the entire stereo field with ecstasy.

The raw, almost naked, and beautiful lyrics meander through the commodious space while a crisp synth delivers the vocal’s counterpoint, creating a natural call and response between AK and the very human melody writing from TsuruSwing.

This blissful remix reaches a pinnacle of exuberant passions at six and a half minutes, the journey has been immersive and honest, with a heartfelt and sincere display of emotions and musical mastery. TsuruSwing also delivers a ‘Reprise’ version here, allowing the emotive strings and incomparable vocals to form the ultimate set closing anthem or DJ tool.

Closing the remix package with a final piece of the puzzle, STUDIO APARTMENT’s Masanori Morita offers up a Re:Edit of TsuruSwing’s remix. Where the essence and feeling are held intact, while Morita re-arranges the sounds, he embellishes with layers of subdued piano chords and delugingsynth licks that unify this newfound partnership. Allowing AK’s idyllic vocals to come forth with more clarity and sit amongst a new array of studio sounds.
