\u00a0\u201cAHEAD\/REPLAY\u201d, the brand new single by rock unit VAMPS formed by HYDE (L\u2019Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), charted in at number 3 on the Oricon weekly singles chart (July 8th).
VAMPS have recently announced the dates for their upcoming European tour held in partnership with LIVE NATION, known for producing worldwide tours for major artists such as Lady Gaga, Madonna and U2. The tour to be held this autumn\/fall will see VAMPS play in Spain, France, Germany and the UK. Alongside these exciting plans, the much-anticipated details of their \u2018best of\u2019 album, \u201cSEX BLOOD ROCK N\u2019 ROLL\u201d, have also been unveiled. Due for release on September 23rd in the U.K., 24th in the U.S. and finally the 25th in Japan (subsequent releases also planned for other countries), the album will feature 13 tracks \u2013 \u201cDEVIL SIDE\u201d, \u201cREDRUM\u201d, \u201cREVOLUTION (REMIX planned)\u201d, \u201cTHE PAST\u201d, \u201cVAMPIRE DEPRESSION\u201d, \u201cSWEET DREAMS\u201d, \u201cLife on Mars?\u201d, \u201cHUNTING (REMIX planned)\u201d, \u201cLOVE ADDICT\u201d, \u201cANGEL TRIP\u201d, \u201cMEMORIES\u201d, \u201cMY FIRST LAST\u201dand \u201cSEX BLOOD ROCK N\u2019 ROLL\u201d.
HYDE commented, \u201cThis album isn\u2019t just a compilation of our previous releases. We\u2019ve newly recorded some of the instrumental parts, re-recorded the vocals for each track with entirely English lyricsand we\u2019ve also redone the mixing. It\u2019ll be our first worldwide album which shows us at our absolute best, as well as serving as our \u201cbest of\u201d album in Japan.\u201d
The cover art resembles a flag embellished with a skull, one of the most symbolic images of VAMPS. The imagery is representative of VAMPS flying their flag high as they set off on their overseas conquests.

The album will be available in 3 different versions \u2013 a standard edition and two limited editions, A and B. The CD will be in the highest quality SHM-CD format, reflecting their pursuit for the highest quality of sound. Limited edition A (SHM-CD and Blu-ray) comes with a Blu-ray disc featuring scenes from what VAMPS do best \u2013 their gigs, including the latest footage from \u201cVAMPS LIVE 2013 <ZEPP DIVERCITY TOKYO>~LIVE VIEWING~\u201d. Limited Edition B (SHM-CD+MERCHANDISE\u201d will certainly be a must have for fans all around the world, including an exclusive collection consisting of a T-shirt, tote bag, gig towel and wrist band, all packed in a special box with its very own serial number.
Also intriguing are the identities of the re-mixers who have worked on the planned re-mixed versions of \u201cREVOLUTION\u201d and \u201cHUNTING\u201d.

Following the release of \u201cAHEAD\/REPLAY\u201d, VAMPS are currently in the middle of their tour \u201cVAMPS LIVE 2013\u201d. Having played Tokyo and Nagoya, they are currently \u2018taking over\u2019 ZEPP NAMBA. Their onward journey includes hosting the summer event \u201cVAMPS LIVE 2013 BEAST PARTY\u201d at Lake Yamanaka (August 10th and 11th, at the Lake Yamanaka Kouryuu Plaza Kirara), performing at festivals, continuing their tour at ZEPP FUKUOKA, ZEPP SAPPORO and the additional dates at ZEPP TOKYO and then finally setting off on their way to Europe. And following in the footsteps of Europe, details of their plans for the US will also be revealed soon.
