Universal Music and Delicious Deli Records are proud to announce\r\na new international partnership with Japanese supergroup VAMPS.\r\nHaving already released two best-selling albums in Japan and\r\nestablished a rapidly growing live following in Asia, Europe, North\r\nAmerica and South America, 2013 promises to be the year that VAMPS\r\nbecome the biggest Japanese band in history and break out into the\r\nglobal market. VAMPS have also announced a new deal with Live\r\nNation to further build their live profile around the\r\nworld.

\r\n VAMPS are superstar singer-songwriter guitarists HYDE and K.A.Z.\r\nTheir first two albums, ‘VAMPS’ and ‘BEAST’, though both were huge\r\nhits, were far from being either artists’ first successes - \r\nHYDE as the lead singer and lyricist of multi-million selling\r\nJapanese rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel, has released a staggering twenty\r\ntop 10 selling albums in Japan, including eight number ones, and\r\nsold over 30 million albums and singles to date. While K.A.Z has\r\nreleased several critically acclaimed albums as a member of\r\nOblivion Dust. HYDE has also released four hugely successful solo\r\nalbums, including the number ones ‘666’ in 2003 and ‘Faith’ in\r\n2006.

\r\n HYDE and K.A.Z formed VAMPS after working together on HYDE’s ‘666’\r\nand ‘FAITH’ albums. Now together as VAMPS, the duo has created a\r\nrock sound like no other that has delighted Japanese fans and is\r\npoised to take the rest of the world by storm. After their\r\nelectrifying live shows in South America in 2010, their second\r\nalbum ‘BEAST’, reached number four in Chile’s sales charts in the\r\nsame year. That’s the highest position EVER achieved by a Japanese\r\nact there.
