margin-top:20px;\">\n<p>EIKICHI YAZAWA PROFILE<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In 1972, he debuted as the leader of the rock and roll band &#8220;Carol.<br \/>\nIn 1977, he became the first Japanese solo rock artist to perform at the Nippon Budokan, and in 1978, he performed at Korakuen Stadium.<br \/>\nIn 2007, Yazawa performed an unprecedented 100 times at Nippon Budokan, and in 2012, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut, he released his first all-time best album \u201cALL TIME BEST ALBUM,\u201d which reached No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.<br \/>\nIn 2014, the band members were selected by audition and formed the band \u201cZ&#8217;s\u201d. They actively participated in their debut live national tour, summer festivals, and \u201cTOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION &#8217;14 A\/W\u201d. They attracted a great deal of attention.<br \/>\nIn 2017, under the title of \u201cTRAVELING BUS 2017,\u201d they toured 26 shows in 20 locations, and performed 142 times at Nippon Budokan, breaking the record for the most number of performances. 2018 will mark their 69th anniversary tour, &#8220;EIKICHI YAZAWA 69TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2018 \u300eSTAY ROCK\u300f. STAY ROCK&#8221; tour, which will take him to Kyocera Dome for the first time and Tokyo Dome for the first time in three years. YAZAWA holds the record as the oldest Japanese artist ever to hold a concert at Tokyo Dome.<br \/>\nIn 2019, he will release his first new album in 7 years, &#8220;Someday, Until That Day Comes&#8230;. and became the oldest album ranking No.1 in Oricon Ranking.<br \/>\nIn 2022, the 50th anniversary of his debut, he will perform his first live show at the renovated National Stadium in August, which will be a great success. In the fall, a 17-show hall and arena tour was held, but the 150th concert at Nippon Budokan, the final leg of the tour, was cancelled due to a throat problem.<br \/>\nIn 2023, the first day of the 18-performance \u201cWelcome to Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll\u201d tour at Nippon Budokan marked the 150th memorial performance, further breaking the record for the most number of Nippon Budokan performances.<br \/>\nIn 2025, the band is scheduled to perform at Tokyo Dome on November 8 and 9 for 2 DAYS.
