中学時代にアコーステックギターを始めるが、すぐにあきらめる。高校生になり再度ギターを始める。今度はあきらめずに、ストリートで弾き語りで歌い始める。高校卒業も近くなり、バンドを組んでみようとメンバー募集。なんとかバンドを組んだものの、3ヶ月で解散。その後は、マイペースでひとりで音楽活動を続ける。大学時代に英語で曲を作り始める。2009年5月アーティスト名を「OLDE WORLDE」とし、沼田壮平の一人ユニットで活動開始。LIVEサポートメンバーには、BASS：堀越武志(OCEANLANE)、DRUMS：岸田佳也(トクマルシューゴ等サポート)を迎え、 Gt・Keyを合わせての5人編成で活動中。2009年11月11日debut album「time and velocity」リリース。

Started to play guitar in junior high school, but gave up right away. Again, he starts to play guitar in high school. This time, he continued to play, and started to perform on streets by himself. Before graduating from high school, he formed a band, however broke up in 3 months. Later on, he starts to make songs in English when he was in college. Finally in 2009, he starts to perform as ” OLDE WORDE ” which is his artist name. He is now performing with 4 other supporting musicians. Bassist: Takeshi Horikoshi (OCEANLANE), Drummer: Yoshiya Kishida (plays for Shugo Tokumaru, etc…) and a guitarist and a keyboard player. His debut album ” time and velocity ” will be released on November 11th, 2009.
